Don't know what to get for the wilderness lover on your list? Back Country sells gift certificates in any amount for that special occasion.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. We will gladly refund or exchange any new, unused item with tags and a receipt within fourteen days of purchase. Items purchased on sale may be returned for store credit or exchange only.
We will gladly special order any item from the companies we stock. Special orders require a 50% deposit. All but 15% of the retail price is refundable if you choose not to buy the item. This is because the companies charge a 15% restocking fee for the return of the item. Special orders generally take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive.
We will gladly return an item to a company that we carry for a warranty evaluation. Please make sure that the item is clean! The companies will not accept dirty gear or they may charge a fee to clean the item.
Back Country's experienced staff help you select the right backpack and fit it to you. If you purchase a pack elsewhere, and need to have it fitted, we will gladly do so for a fee. This service is free to patrons who purchased their packs at Back Country Ski and Sport.

Back Country is your full-service boat shop. We have an expert sales staff to help you select the perfect boat and also provide boat repair.
Back Country carries a full line of 
car racks. We will install car racks for a fee. However, we do not install any camper top brackets or permanent installation fit kits and tracks. Also, if you purchase a rack system to install yourself and have difficulty with the installation and have to return for assistance, the prices increase by $10.00.
